Premier Jewelery

Not to long ago, I got to host a premier jewelry catalog for my friend Rachel.
I was able to get some coveted pieces of Jewelery for 1/2 the price.
Rachel holds a very special place in my heart. Let me introduce her before I go into details about premier jewelry.
Seventeen years ago this little country girl needed a wedding dress to get married in. My sister and I both had gotten engaged ( my sister before me, we had a double wedding) so that created a delemma, we only had one dress. As we couldn't afford another one Rachel so graciously offered to let me borrow hers. I love this girl and her tender heart. She has been a real inspiration to me. Thank you Rachel for being so kind and reaching out to me ,the backwards little country girl those many years ago.
So today this is what I am doing, I am doing my first giveaway here on eachlittlebird! Since I love emails so much the 25th email that I get from my readers (stellamerry76@gmail.com) will win this lovely necklace.

You likey? So get to emailing friend.... This giveaway will be open until Saturday November (30th)

Happy thanksgiving from my little turkeys

The other day we did a craft with each of our little birdies. You know the the turkey handprint you see on PINTREST? We had so much fun making them.
Seriously though, if I didn't have my girls to help during this project, there sadly would be no craft at all. This particular one involves paint which is a little to messy for my liking.
The ones that participated in it went home wearing their cute little turkey shirts.
Have you ever tried to photograph this many little birdies at once? Try it! It's kinda hard!

Happy thanksgiving from our little turkey birds!

Cara box exchange

Goodness gracious! Cara box exchange again! This is so much fun. It has been a pleasure getting to know Nicole who blogs over at adventures of a Semper Fi family. She is the one who sent me my box.
And boy howdy! Does she ever fix you up a nice one! I think my girls were just as excited about the package when it arrived as I was. Angel was extremely excited about the c.d. By Chris Tomlin! Umm Nicole , I do believe my c.d. has gone missing...... I also got to know Liz. She is the one I sent my box to.
Also Nicole sent me the sweetest card. I have found another dear bloggy friend. She is truly a unique person.
In case you are wondering what the cara box exchange is, you can find out more about here, wiffesionals.com. I have really enjoyed participating in it. If you haven't tried it , do! It's good way to meet new people. Last time, I met the sweetest lady Linae who has so much in common with me. We still communicate through emails and what not.

See my pretty napkins? Nicole sent those because she knows thanksgiving is my favorite time of the year! That little ball is chap stick, and yes it was prepackaged before I took the picture! That's what happens when you have eager hands helping to open your things.:)

I also got a Starbucks gift card ( which I can't wait to use) and a devotional. Thank you again dear Nicole! I agree I think We were a good match too!

Till next time, Merry

Vintage Inspired Thursday (part 2)

Here are a few more ideas I used on the same dress. Don't you just love changing up (1) dress with different asseccories?
I got the sweater from Modcloth and I have worn it a lot this fall. I really like it.  A lot....
The dress I found at an estate sale. It's old , but how old I don't know......?
This morning I while reading my devotions I came across this verse in Provebs. I'll share it with you today.
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
 Have a blessed day ya'll!

This is the tag that is in the dress. I put a quarter on it to hold it down as it is coming loose.

Babies and weather

A few days ago I walked into my living room, and this is what I found sitting in my chair.

This precious boy had climbed up in my chair and was sitting there tenderly rocking Stella. Now normally I don't let the dogs out while my little people are here but this particular day Stella had gotten out and had made a beeline for my chair. So when I walked in on this scene I couldn't help but swell with Mammy pride as this darling boy gently took care of Stella that day. This litte man has the sweetest little soul. I love him.(as I do all my other ones too)
Is it only Louisiana that the weather changes on a dime? One minute we have our windows up and the next its super freeeeeezing!!!

Windows up!

Windows down!

Gotta love our Louisiana State though, the weather around here keeps life intresting!
These two little cousins came dresse like twins. They are the cutest little things ever!

This one cracks me up! Sawyer's little hands are moving so fast they are a blur!

See? I told you they were cute! Of course I'm a little biased when it comes to my babies.
This one makes me laugh too as he is addicted to shoes and wants to tromp all over the house in them. Who needs a T.V. when you have this kind of entertainment?!

God bless, and have a wonderful Wednesday!

A little of this.....

,Hello friends!
Did you think I ran away? Nope I'm still here. I just didn't get to sit down and post like I wanted to last week. But here I am today...... The sweet NieNie over at NieNies dialogues post every day about the happenings of her and her family's life's .... Talking about dedication! I love her for it, as I am one of her faithful readers.
Trusting you all had a wonderful weekend. My family and I did! We didn't do much but we were together and that's all that matters right?
Yesterday we had the most delicious service at church. It started out super anointed! God was there, you could feel His presence. I encourage you to listen/ watch the archive @www.eveninglight.net and make sure to click on the latest sermon! You will not be disappointed I promise! I do believe we have the best singers, musicians and preachers I do declare....... Every time I think it can't get no better, well it does! I suppose every one feels like that about their church ? My brother and his family were there and that was a treat too!
Ben will be working nights for the next two weeks. This is something he enjoys in his spare time. I love this guy!

Hodgepodge Wenesday

Today I am linking up with from my side of the pond. It sounds like fun, so I thought I'd try it!

1. Today is my sister's birthday (yesterday actually). What's one way you are like your siblings? How are you like your lifelong best friend or cousin?
My sister and I could have been twins. We think alike and often wear the same thing without even realizing it. Which is kinda weird considering we are both married and live apart now, and still even now do the same. As for as some of my cousins and bestest friends, are that we share the same faith.

2. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of yourself at age eighteen?
Well, I was husbandless and childless.

3.Sculptor,dancer-actor- painter...if you could excel in one of these of arts, which would you choose?
I would definitely want to be a artist. I can't draw a straight line, so that would be lots of fun to actually draw something that would look intelligent.

4. What's a scent that takes you back in time ,and where does it take you?
The scent that comes to mind is my Aunt Sisters house. It always had a very distinct smell. I always associated that smell with her. For some reason when I go to our vet here in town ( Doctor Cameron) it instantly reminds me of her house smell and I always think of her. No it does not smell like pets. It's a nice clean smell.

5.  November is for peanut butter lovers(National peanut butter Lovers Month) are you a lover or a hater? What's your favorite dish/recipe that calls for peanut butter?
I like peanut butter a lot. While I wouldn't want it every day, once a week is good. My favorite peanut butter recipe would have to be peanut butter pie.

6. What do people thank you personally for most often?
     For keeping their children.

7. What event this year are you most thankful for?
I am thankful for Thanksgiving as it is my most favorite holiday in the entire year!

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
I am so thankful for the power of conviction and also for eternal life.

Jalapeño popper dip

This is the dip I made for Emelie's baby shower. Every one seemed to like it. I served it with Fritos ,however you can serve it with crackers or what ever you like.

This is a picture of it after we already dipped out of it. Sorry for the bad quality.
                          Jalapeño Popper Dip
2 bricks (8 oz.) of cream cheese
                     1/2 cup mayonnaise
                     1 can diced chilies
3 or 4 jalapeños seeded and finely chopped
                     1 small bag of mozzarella
3 or 4 green onions chopped
I small bag of real bacon bits

Mix all together and spread in long Pyrex dish or whatever you think it will work. ( at least something you can heat up in)
                           TOPPING
                           1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup panko bread crumbs/ cracker crumbs
                            1/4 cup butter melted

Mix bread crumbs and Parmesan in melted butter until well coated, then sprinkle over the prepared dip. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until heated through and bubbly. Enjoy!

Random picture here, it has nothing to with the above but I would like ya'll to see my littlest birdies.
They are so sweet!

Baby showers, birthdays, and a sick little girl

Our weekend went by in a flash! Thursday night Katherine wanted to hand out candy to the little tricker treaters. I went and bought serval bags for her to hand out. I told her" now only hand out one piece per child "(as it was good chocolate bars) so I was in the kitchen washing dishes and she was on the front porch doing her thing. A few minutes later I notice she is back inside scrounging around looking for more candy. So I ask her " where did all the candy go"? Have you already given it all out? She sheepishly admitted that she had indeed been giving entire handfuls. Well when you run out of candy that's it folks , lights out. Too bad so sad.....

Friday we celebrated one our  "little birds" birthday! He is now one year! Isn't he just the cutest little guy?

Then on Saturday my family hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law , Emelie. We had all sorts of good food and fellowship. I was in charge of making the dips, so I made jalapeño popper dip, and s'mores dip. Ms. Stacey requested that I put the recipe for the jalapeño popper dip on the blog. So I plan on doing that tomorrow.:)

And then Saturday night we all go to bed happy because the next day is Sunday and it's our day to go to church (something I always look forward too) and before I can even get out of bed I hear this little voice " Mama I don't feel good!" Not the words you want to hear before your eyes come all the way open..... I suppose she had a stomach bug. Which to me are the nastiest of nastys. Poor little thing passed out twice trying to get back to bed. She was still feeling a bit puny last night , but I think she will be fine to go to school today.
So that's how we spent our weekend! And how was yours?
