Nate is one sweet little fella! He knows how to make me laugh. He is also a sensitive little soul. He has the cutest little lip that pokes out when he's not happy. I always have to hide my smile or bite my cheek when I see this. But as you can see he is one handsome little guy. Mammy loves her Natey Potatey!

Did I confuse you? No it's not Wednesday. I always try to feature a little one on that day, but I couldn't wait to post this.
These are some pictures of a day gown I embroidered for the newest little birdie.
What!? A boy in a day gown!? But of course! It's my humble opinion that All babies should be dressed like babies.Yes I know I am a little old fashioned when it comes to how little people should be dressed.yep go ahead and say it I am a snob.(at least when it comes down to baby clothes)Please never take your dear baby out in public in just a diaper.
True confession: one time when Angel was very small,we had come home from a doctors appointment .She was hot tired and fussy. So I stripped her down to her diaper and church shoes so maybe she would be more comfortable, well in the mean-time my sister drops in and wants to know if I want to go to Walmart? I did need a few things so Ben volunteered to stay with Angel. I get to Walmart and head for the things I needed and then I hear a very familiar wail, yes coming strait for me. It is Ben with Angel, in just a diaper, bib, and church shoes. Oh horrors! I snatch my precious baby and race to our car praying no one sees us! Why did you come out of the house with our baby with just a diaper and a bib on? I asked. "She was crying and she wanted you." Was the answer. Pride? Um, yeah a little.

Ben took the day off to do a few fun things with the girls , before they start back to school next week. As I didn't go on the "fun day" I'll tell you a few things they told me they did. (I stayed home to mind babies). They went to Shreveport hoping they could ride the go-carts, but sadly they didn't open till 4 this afternoon-so next they tried Sci-Port but it was under construction till this afternoon. Bummer! Well, when Angel goes to Shreveport/Bossier she always thinks the journey is not complete unless we visit a bookstore. I kinda like them myself. (Wink, wink). While there, Ben picked me up a copy of Raising the Dead. I LOVE that book.
Now those of you that knows Ben, knows he don't like to read. So he brought this book home just for me and told me I could read it to him at night. Isn't that sweet? I think it is... They also went to the Pet Store and proceeded to buy things to spoil our Welsh Corgi, Stewart. They got him a new collar, new tag, and a ball. He is well loved little fellow here at the Coleman's resident's.

1 Corinthians 13:13 " And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Dear Ben, Last Friday when I answered the phone it was you, wondering if I would like to go out on a date night? That really made my day. I love our moments together (though they be rare) just you and I. When you came home from work that evening my heart sank, because your we're coughing and sneezing so much from your allergies. I immediately thought you wouldn't feel like going but you persevered. You took me to the Olive Garden which I enjoyed very much, but you could have took me to McDonalds and I wouldn't have cared just as long we're together. You+Me=We! I also enjoyed strolling around the Best Buy store after supper. You are my one and only and I love you very much. Btw, read the scripture at the top, this morning in my Bible and I thought it would go well with post.

For part of my friends birthday present, I decided to make her a birthday supper. Saturday she and her family got to come and visit with us for the evening. We had some other friends over as well.
Tyra has been my friend now for many years. I can always call her up and tell her things I couldn't just tell anyone else. You couldn't ask for a better friend than her.
She "gets" me. She puts up with me and my crazy ways, any most importantly she loves me for who I am. I thank God I have been blessed with wonderful family and friends.
I didn't think about taking a picture of us during supper but I did get a few of us visiting after supper.
I loved my weekend. How about you? Have a wonderful week!
Our supper menu:
Stewed butter potatoes
Dessert: Peach pie with Ice cream

The weather has been wonderful today. It has such a nice fallish crispness in the air.
A few days back it was my birthday. I don't get to see my friend Tyra as often as I would like, so she sent me a late birthday gift the other day through my sister She has this knack of knowing what a girl likes. I didn't get a picture of the cute zebra print gift bag that all the gifts came in.
I love my apron!
I also love my zebra print coffee cup. I really enjoyed sipping my coffee out of it this morning. For some reason it tasted better. ;)
Today is my sweet friends birthday. Saturday, I am planning a birthday supper for her. I will be posting pictures of that next week. Looking forward to Friday and the weekend!!
Enjoy the rest if the day!

As many of you know, I keep children here in my home. I thought that each Wednesday, I would feature an individual "little bird" here on Each Little Bird.
Today I am featuring Maddox. Affectionately who I call "cowboy". I wish you could be here to witness the way this little chap walks. He's got the cutest little bow legs you ever did see, thus his nickname "Cowboy". He is a happy little fella (well most of the time.)

I love to hang clothes and towels and etc. out on the line, er I mean, fence. I am an old soul when it comes to things like that. And no, it's not because I don't have a dryer. I do, but I rarely use it. My friend, Tyra, says "it makes the towels rough&stiff." I say, I like my towels rough because they make a good exfoliator, good for getting the dead hide off.

Good Morning! Hope your weekend was as lovely as ours!
Friday for lunch, Ben surprised us with lunch. What a sweet Daddy, thinking of us, on his busy lunch break. He is always doing kind things like that. I love him.
Saturday was oh so busy. The girls and I cleaned all morning. The whole family then headed to Shreveport to do some shopping.
This is Ben's favorite eating place. Cane's chicken fingers anyone? I do love this pic of my three favorite people.
Sunday was awesome. We had the most inspiring service was blessed to be seated in heavenly places. Our pastor outdid himself. To listen to the sermon go to www.eveninglight.net.
Have a great week y'all!
