Christmas brunch

I promised ya'll some pictures of our togetherness for Christmas. My side of the family does a brunch each year. I always am in charge of the shrimp and grits and biscuits. But horrors of horrors, wouldn't you know it this year I snagged the wrong cheese..... Which equals yuck! Too too sour. I'm kinda picky when it comes to cheese.

 But nevertheless everything else was super yummy.

 Our newest little member of the family got to join us for his first Christmas. I tell ya he is pretty cute!

 My nephew Zander, got the dirt bike of his dreams. He's a happy little chap.

 We all had a wonderful good time being together with the bestest family.

Our anniversary

Seventeen years today I have been married to a wonderful man.

My sister and I had a double wedding. So each year we try to all go out and celebrate this special day.

 This year for Christmas one of the baby birds "Mama ",gave me a gift certificate to Ernest New Orleans. It's like our one favorite spots in Shreveport. We celebrated in style... The food and service are impeccable. After supper we went to boardwalk to do some shopping. 

 I am a very happy lady today! Through many toils and tears we've come and grace will lead us home.

 Happy anniversary dearest Ben! I love you forever and always!

Thank you again Ashley for giving us the special day! We enjoyed it immensely!

Vintage Inspired Thursday

Whew! Christmas wears me out! I'm really thankful that it comes once a year. I love every minute of it though.

 I will be posting some more of Christmas memories next week.
